YouFibre, which was founded in 2019, has seen exponential growth in recent months and is now live in 22 towns across the UK, with many more in development. YouFibre is powered by the infrastructure of full fibre broadband network operator, Netomnia.

What packages do YouFibre Broadband offer?

YouFibre currently offer full fibre (FTTP) broadband packages with speeds from 150Mb up to 920Mb.

  • YouFibre 500 with average speeds of 500Mb
  • YouFibre 1000 with average speeds of 920Mb

All packages are on a 24 month contract as standard. For those looking for a little more flexibility, YouFibre also offer 1-month rolling contracts. Whilst the monthly price may be a little higher, the set-up cost is still free.

No in-contract price rises

YouFibre is one of the few providers who promise not to raise prices mid-contract.

Price rises are common with the bigger providers including BT, EE and Plusnet, who all have annual rises of CPI + 3.9%.

Does YouFibre Broadband include a home phone line?

As YouFibre is a full fibre connection, they don’t have a traditional phone line.

Instead they offer a Voice over IP (VoIP) service with a choice of two call plans. Both plans are only to UK landlines though, so it may not be first choice for customers who make calls to mobiles, or international calls.

Is YouFibre Broadband available in my area?

The biggest downside to YouFibre is their limited availability.

YouFibre’s network is being built by network partner Netomnia. At time of writing they have covered 190,000 premises with 500,000 premises in progress and a target of 1 million in 2023.

Whilst the availability is increasing rapidly, the reality is that right now, YouFibre simply isn’t an option for most customers.

What router do you get with YouFibre broadband?

All YourFibre broadband packages come with a eero Pro 6 router.

The eero Pro 6 router is a tri-band router capable of speeds up to a gigabit, with enough bandwidth for 75+ connected devices.

What is YouMesh?

YouMesh is a mesh solution that enables full WiFi coverage in your home, eliminating dead spots. YouFibre guarantee at least 10Mb WiFi in every room with YouMesh, or your money back.

When you join YouFibre you automatically receive one node (your eero Pro 6 router), and with YouMesh you’ll receive 1-2 additional nodes to build the best mesh solution for your home. Each additional node costs £7 per month.
