All you need to know about BT
BT claims to be the world’s oldest communications company, dating back to 1846. They have come a long way since then and are now the UK’s largest broadband provider offering both Fibre and ADSL packages to more than 7.5 million subscribers. BT have really increased their efforts and expanded their TV service to become a massive contender to Sky and Virgin Media.
What does BT offer?
BT Broadband
BT Broadband packages come in a range of options, from standard ADSL to superfast fibre broadband with average speeds of 67Mb.
BT TV
BT offers a choice of five TV packages, plus additional bolt ons from NOW TV which can be changed monthly bringing together great entertainment and flexibility. BT TV is only available for BT Broadband customers.
BT Sport
Join in the action with BT Sport and watch the UEFA Champions League, Premier League and Premiership Rugby.
BT Home Phone
BT Broadband comes with pay as you go calls included. If you need, you can upgrade your plan to one of the following:
- 700 minutes - Get 700 minutes a month to UK landlines or UK mobiles, day or night
- Unlimited minutes - Unlimited calls to any UK landline or UK mobile, day or night

What's bad about BT?

How do I switch to BT?
Switching to BT couldn't be easier. Once you have found the deal you want, simply click the ‘View Deal’ button. This will take you to BT’s website, who will guide you through the rest of the process. Or you can click the link below to go direct to the BT website.
If your current provider is Virgin Media then you will need to let them know that you're leaving and it's up to you to coordinate the end of one contract and the start of another.
If you're choosing a broadband package and are currently with another provider that uses the Openreach network, then they will do the contacting on your behalf.
